We recommend vacuuming the bottom track once a month to remove dust, pet hair, and debris from the brushes.

Retract the screen when not in use—especially during cold, windy, or wet winter months—to protect it.

To clean the mesh, gently wipe it with a sponge or cloth using a mild solution of water and dish soap.

Pets may be initially confused by the new screens, so we recommend giving them time to get familiar with their presence. Our screens are primarily built to keep insects out while allowing excellent ventilation for your home, condo, apartment, or business.

The mesh used on Casper Screens is designed to provide a slight “give” if someone accidentally walks into the screen. However, if someone falls or runs through it, the screen may become detached from its housing. In that case, we recommend calling Casper Screens at 1-888-976-8824 to schedule a service visit with one of our certified technicians, who can repair the door or replace the screen mesh as needed.

Casper Screens are designed to be sleek and nearly invisible—so much so that in certain lighting, it can be difficult to tell whether the screen is open or closed. Our $10 Hummingbird Decal is an optional add-on that sticks directly to the screen, making it easier to see at a glance. It helps prevent accidental walk-throughs and adds a subtle visual cue without compromising the screen’s aesthetics.
